This was my video for April's show... so this blog post is late. But it's late because I kind of want to forget about the video in general, and having to do a blog reminds me of the whole video. It was a video about academic honesty and saying how it can affect a student in school or in the college process. Overall, it was an informative video that I hoped students paid attention to.
The idea sparked from a poll in our local school newspaper, the Panorama, where students were asked what the disciplinary system should focus on, and academic dishonesty fell fourth on the list. I began investigating, and I found out that it was just a low priority to begin with. While the interviews were informative, I needed a teacher's interview and a student's interview - two important thoughts on the topic. I do believe I found good B-roll for the video, because it's hard finding video for a topic of taking tests and making it visually appealing.
