First semester is officially over. That means I only have one more semester of BTech before college.
But, before I get all sappy, let me tell you about my broadcast project. This month was our final, and we had to respond to one of four prompts: black and white, left or right, day and night, or win or lose in a 90 second to 2-minute video. I chose left or right, and to do it as a commentary.
My original idea was the idea of politics. However, I struggled coming up with something that was outside the box when it comes to politics. So, in my English class, we got on the topic of decisions, and I decided to to my final on decisions we make in our lifetime.
I did some interesting math in my video. Turns out, we end up making over 144 million decision in our entire lifetime. Some choices come to us that we don't even notice. Like, for example, if we are working on homework, and we stop to play with the pencil beside us. We unconsciously made the decision to stop our work rather than working. We then made the unconscious decision to play with a pencil beside us.
In the end, after every decision we make, we have an opportunity to change our life. That's the whole purpose of the video I created: to let people know that even if they've made a decision they don't like, their life still turn around.
